GraVoc’s David Laster will once again present at the Dynamics Community Summit North America! The Dynamics Community Summit is the largest annual conference for the Microsoft Business Applications communities. This summit provides credible peer-to-peer knowledge exchange and networking that allows the Microsoft community to share their expertise with one another.
Last year, David traveled to Kissimmee, Florida where he presented two sessions called ‘Let’s Talk Dynamics GP Upgrades! 60 min, 50 tips, from 40+ year’s Experiences = Tips, Tricks & Techniques to help you achieve a successful and stress-free upgrade‘ and ‘An All-In-One Power BI Dashboard for GP Administrators, Managers and Users‘. Due to COVID-19, this year’s event will be held virtually from October 7-9th, 2020.
The first session that David will be presenting is titled ‘Power BI – The Intelligent Administrator Dashboard.’ This session will be held on October 7th from 12:40pm-1:30pm EST. David will be exploring his Intelligent Administrator Dashboard which encompasses 150 SQL queries and produces 350 Power BI indicators across 30 subjects in MSSQL, Dynamics, GP Companies, Management Reporter and even ISV products. Attendees will learn how to leverage Power BI for powerful, real-time analysis of configuration selection in each of the modules in Dynamics GP.
The second session that David will be presenting is titled ‘Two Great Worlds Colliding – Power BI Reporting and GP Payroll‘. David will be presenting this session with Danny Clemenson, Technical Sales Specialist at Integrity Data. This session will be held the same day, October 7th, from 4:30pm-5:20pm EST and will focus on how users can use Power BI to support and enhance their Payroll reporting capacity. David and Danny will discuss a new and more visual way of reviewing payroll transactions in Dynamics GP with Power BI and explore the steps it takes to create your own Power BI views for Dynamics GP and beyond as well as an introduction to other Power Platform tools.
