GraVoc’s David Laster to Speak at the 2019 User Group Summit North America

GraVoc’s David Laster will be attending and speaking at the 2019 User Group Summit North America in Kissimmee, Florida from October 15th-18th! This annual conference is for users of the Microsoft Business Applications platform and features educational sessions and resources on all versions of Dynamics 365, AX, CRM, GP, Business Central/Nav, Power BI, PowerApps, and Microsoft Flow. This summit provides credible peer-to-peer knowledge exchange and networking that allows the Microsoft community to share their expertise with one another.

David Laster is GraVoc’s Dynamics GP guru and will be presenting two sessions during the Summit! Since 2014, David has been at the forefront of our customers’ GP implementations, installations, upgrades, integrations, customizations, trainings, and support requests. David has over 20 years of accounting and GP experiences under his belt and has successfully completed over 300 upgrades and installations.  David is beyond excited to share his knowledge with fellow Microsoft enthusiasts and will even be demoing his new Power BI Dashboard for GP Administrators, Managers and Users!

The first session David will be speaking at will be on Wednesday, October 16th from 12:45pm-1:45pm entitled ‘Let’s Talk Dynamics GP Upgrades! 60 min, 50 tips, from 40+ year’s Experiences = Tips, Tricks & Techniques to help you achieve a successful and stress-free upgrade‘. David will be joined by another Dynamics GP veteran, Abra Gilman, Senior Consultant at Collins Computing, Inc. During this session, David and Abra will be sharing best tips, tricks and techniques on how they conduct successful GP upgrades.

On Thursday, October 17th from 9:30am-10:30am David will be presenting ‘An All-In-One Power BI Dashboard for GP Administrators, Managers and Users’. David was recently inspired by the Excel GP Admin Dashboard presented at last year’s GPUG Summit by Steve Erbach and Steve Endow as well as Belinda Allen’s GP-based Excel and Power BI dashboarding. This led David to create an All-In-One Power BI Dashboard for GP Admins, Managers and Users. Containing nearly 140 queries, this demo will show attendees how users can perform a Dynamics GP System Audit/Assessment through a Power BI dashboard.  With 30 different dashboards and almost 300 Power BI data titles, this dashboard truly provides an all-in-one location where users can view the important setups, and document and explore the data in their GP ecosystem!
