We’re teaming up with our friends at Connolly Brothers to sponsor a Build-A-Bed event in support of A Bed for Every Child on Saturday June 15th!  A Bed for Every Child receives over 200 requests per month of children in need of a bed of their own.  To meet the need, A Bed for Every Child created the Build-A-Bed project where sponsored teams of 2 to 4 people come together to build and paint twin beds.  Upon its completion, A Bed for Every Child delivers not only the frame but also a new twin mattress and bedding to a child.

For a $250 donation, your team of 2 to 4 will be given all of the tools needed to build a bed for a child in need! Help us give a child a place to dream and join us on Saturday June 15th! The event will take place in the Connolly Brothers’ parking lot located at 152 Conant Street, Beverly MA. Join us after the event for a picnic, family activities, games & more!  We will be building beds from 9am-12:00pm, after we will end with a BBQ and family fun from 12pm-2pm!

Rain Date: In the event of rain, the event will take place at the New England Academy located at 96 Cherry Hill Drive, Beverly (just down the street from Connolly Brothers)

About A Bed for Every Child

A Bed for Every Child was launched in 2012 when a public-school teacher asked for help to get beds for her students. What she was witnessing was the same as hundreds of other teachers across our state teaching in communities, students coming to school tired and unfocused because they were lacking one of life’s most important physical and mental factors: healthy sleep. A Bed for Every Child provides beds for children living in poverty without one of their own. Since its inception, the program has delivered more than 7,000 beds.
