At a Glance

The Stevens Group had deep market credibility, a long-standing reputation, and global partner reach — but their nearly 10-year-old website no longer reflected the strength of the firm. The site was difficult to update, visually dated, light on clear calls to action, and missing key content that would help prospective tenants understand what The Stevens Group does and how they can help.

GraVoc partnered with The Stevens Group to create a clearer, more modern digital experience that better explained their tenant representation services, highlighted the types of spaces they support, showcased representative transactions, and made the site easier to maintain after launch.

The Challenge

When credibility is buried in an outdated experience

The Stevens Group came to GraVoc with a website that had become hard to manage and harder to use as a business development tool. The firm had decades of experience in Greater Boston commercial real estate, but the site did not clearly communicate that credibility or guide users toward the next step.

During discovery, a few key challenges surfaced: the website lacked clear conversion paths, the content was stale, the visuals felt dated, and important areas of expertise were underrepresented. The site explained services, but it did not fully help users understand the types of commercial space The Stevens Group supports — including office, lab, research and development, industrial, and manufacturing space.

Through UX discovery, content review, and analytics analysis, GraVoc identified an opportunity to reorganize the site around the questions prospective tenants would naturally ask:

  • What does tenant representation mean?
  • What kind of space do I need?
  • Has this firm helped companies like mine?
  • And how do I start the process?

Those insights shaped a streamlined sitemap, clearer page structure, and wireframes that brought the website’s story into focus before visual design began.

The Solution

Where strategy creates a clearer path forward

GraVoc redesigned the website around a more intentional user journey. Instead of simply refreshing the existing pages, the team restructured the content to better explain The Stevens Group’s services, space expertise, transaction experience, and firm history.

A new Space Types page gave users a clearer way to understand the different commercial environments The Stevens Group supports. The Transactions page was also reworked to make recent work easier to publish and easier for users to scan. Rather than requiring every transaction to function as a full case study or press release, key details could now be surfaced directly on the card, with the option to link to a press release when available.

Visually, the site needed to feel modern while still honoring the firm’s legacy. GraVoc refined the blue brand palette and leaned into strong diagonal design elements inspired by the client’s visual preferences. The result was a polished, professional design system that felt more aligned with the firm’s experience and market position.

The site was built in Divi 5 with global colors, fonts, and reusable sections to support long-term consistency and easier content management. GraVoc also provided training and site-specific documentation so The Stevens Group could confidently manage updates after launch.
