2019 was a big year for our team at GraVoc! Along with celebrating our 25th anniversary, we welcomed new employees, hosted workshops and networking events and added new services to our growing menu! As we enter 2020, we take a look back at some of our top highlights over 2019!

Special Events

25th Anniversary Celebration

On September 18th, 2019 we celebrated our 25th Anniversary as a company at Spinellis in Peabody! We were thrilled to share this milestone with our customers, family and friends who have helped get us to where we are today. The night featured presentations from employees, food, drinks, music and a live painter! Our team is excited to see what the next 25 years holds for us!

Snow Networking

On February 12th, 2019, we hosted our first Snow Networking event at Pico Mountain in Vermont! This unique networking event was first brought to us by Brian Gravel, VP of our Creative Technology department in 2018. Brian had mentioned how there are usually golf tournaments in the summer, however there is not much networking events centered around winter sports. Brian’s vision was to rent a mountain and host a private skiing and snowboarding event for business professionals around New England. The event was a huge success with over 100 attendees from all over New England! We are currently gearing up to host our 2nd Annual Snow Networking event on February 11th,  2020 at Pico Mountain and we hope you join us on the slopes! New Services & Development

Microsoft Gold Competency

In 2019, our team once again received Gold Competency Membership status from Microsoft! After successfully passing all requirements and exams, we were granted two gold competencies for Enterprise Resource Planning as well as Cloud Productivity. Receiving a gold competency from Microsoft demonstrates our expertise in delivering quality solutions to our customers and assures them that we are well-trained and certified in the solutions we offer!

IRIS Time Management Application

Our team was hard at work this past year developing our new time management application called IRIS.  IRIS is an intuitive time management application that seamlessly connects our support ticket system, time tracking and internal systems under one roof. While our Creative Technology practice spearheaded the project, every department at GraVoc played a role in the development of IRIS!

Power BI Dashboards

After seeing presentations by Steve Erbach, Steve Endow and Belinda Allen, GraVoc employee David Laster was inspired to create an All-In-One Power BI Dashboard for GP Admins, Managers and Users. David’s Power BI Dashboards can perform an entire Dynamics GP System Audit/Assessment through a Power BI dashboard.  With 30 different dashboards and almost 300 Power BI data titles, this dashboard truly provides an all-in-one location where users can view the important setups, and document and explore the data in their GP ecosystem! Check out the Power BI Dashboards yourself!

New Employees & Roles

In 2019, we welcomed new members to our team and had several role changes! In October 2019, we attended our first Cannabis trade show, the CWCBExpo, and met with business professional within the Cannabis Industry. GraVoc also became a member of the MassCBA which brings together entrepreneurs, related professionals, and allied organizations to support the responsible, equitable growth of the cannabis industry in Massachusetts.

Online Raffle Development

Our Web Development team worked alongside new and familiar non-profits and charities this past year to help their fundraising efforts through our online raffle websites. Some non-profits we worked with include, TB12 Foundation, Northeast Arc, YMCA, Light Foundation, Gronk Nation and several others. In October 2019, we helped Angel Flight Northeast with their ‘New England Patriots Experience‘ online raffle. The raffle raised $20,000 to help support their foundation! For The Cabot’s 99th year celebration, the theater collaborated with our video production team to create this magical film, which premiered at the theater’s 99th-year celebration and fundraiser. The Cabot Theater has a story like no other, filled with history, magic, and vision. In the 1970s, The Cabot became home to Le Grand David and His Own Spectacular Magic Company; the longest-running magic show in the United States. This short film tells only a small part of the incredible history of the theater and its spectacular magic show.
