We are excited to announce that GraVoc has been selected as the YMCA of Metro North’s “Community Partner of the Year”! GraVoc was a lead supporter of the ‘Where in the World’ event which took place last September. The event was part of their annual fundraiser which raises money for children and families within our communities who cannot afford to attend the YMCA. Working together with the staff of the YMCA of Metro North we were able to raise $120,000 for local youths and families!
Through your exceptional support and leadership at the YMCA Where in the World Gala, the YMCA of Metro North raised over $120,000 to further advance our mission in the community. These funds provided scholarships to underprivileged local youth, memberships for isolated senior citizens and additional services to families in need.
At the gala, the GraVoc team was instrumental in the theme, the setting, the enthusiastic audience, the messaging and overall success of the event! The ‘Where in the World’ theme which including a raffle, an airport like setting and even a pilot as our Master of Ceremonies aligned well with the YMCA, as it is a worldwide movement focused on Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.
The GraVoc team is thrilled to be receiving this honor and we look forward to working with the great staff of the YMCA of Metro North for this years Where in the World event! We will be receiving the award on May 24th at 7:30AM at the Gannon Golf Club.
