The Light Foundation recently went live with their ‘Stairway to Seven’ charity sweepstakes, and we are proud to have partnered with them once again on launching the sweepstakes website.
The goal was clear: create a sweepstakes website that supporters can trust and make it easy for people to participate. With a high-profile prize and a short fundraising window, the digital experience needed to perform seamlessly from day one.
A once-in-a-lifetime Super Bowl experience
The winner of the ‘Stairway to Seven’ sweepstakes will get to experience the ultimate football showdown: New England vs. Seattle at the Big Game on Sunday, February 8th in Santa Clara, California.
The VIP experience includes:
- Two tickets to the game with great seats
- Access to an exclusive pregame tailgate
- Accommodations for the weekend
- A special dinner with 3x Super Bowl Champion and former Patriot #72, Matt Light
The Light Foundation has also added a ‘Golden Prize‘ to the sweepstakes, which is a second set of tickets to the Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara. With all the hype surrounding the new dynamic duo of quarterback Drake Maye and head coach Mike Vrabel, this is the kind of opportunity any Patriots fan would want access to.
Less about flashy design, more about trust
Our team approached the sweepstakes website with a clear set of priorities shaped by years of collaboration with the Light Foundation. Each decision was made to reduce friction, build confidence, and encourage participation.
Whether a supporter is coming back for another year or discovering the sweepstakes for the first time, we wanted the experience to feel seamless and exciting. We did this by including thoughtful design elements, such as:
- An intuitive donation flow that makes it easy for supporters to participate without confusion
- Mobile-friendly design so people can enter from anywhere
- Consistent branding that builds trust with returning supporters year after year
- Reliable performance, especially during traffic spikes
- A layout that highlights the sweepstakes prize while reinforcing the impact of giving
A fundraising win worth celebrating
Since launch, the Light Foundation has continued to accelerate its mission and expand its impact. A portion of the initiative also supports the Ron Burton Training Village.
We’re proud of our continued partnership and grateful for the role we play in supporting the Light Foundation’s work through strategic digital experiences.
Why charity sweepstakes are a great fundraising idea for nonprofits
Drawing from our experience working with a variety of nonprofits on sweepstakes initiatives, we wanted to share why they can be an effective fundraising tactic for organizations of all sizes.
Charity sweepstakes are often both accessible and impactful. Supporters get the chance to win something exciting without the pressure to make a large donation, and nonprofits raise funds without relying solely on traditional donations.
When done right, sweepstakes can help:
- Attract new donors who might not engage otherwise
- Give supporters a fun, low-barrier way to contribute
- Create urgency with a clear deadline
- Generate excitement that’s easy to share on social media
From a fundraising standpoint, it’s a great mix of storytelling, timing, and incentive.
