A Look at the Top 6 New Features of Dynamics GP 18.7

R

Mass e-mail reports from Navigation Lists

The features for navigation lists in the ribbon keep getting better! Now you can select multiple reports from any of the report lists and send an email with all of them at the same time. Previously, only one report at a time could be processed this way.
R

Link Sales Order print options to document type

Printing Sales Invoices just got a lot easier! When printing from the Sales Transaction Entry window, the print options dialog box automatically includes the right document type (e.g. Invoice or Return), and this is now defaulted by the Document ID setup.
R

Payables 1099 masking IDs

The Print 1099 window now has a ‘Partial Mask Tax ID Number’ checkbox that enables Dynamics GP to print the first five numbers of their Tax ID as an ‘X’ on the 1099 forms.
R

Payables Transaction Remit to Address Display/Save Remit to Address Details to History

The Remit-To ID reporting and inquiry capability has improved on Payables. When payments are posted in Dynamics GP, the actual remittance address information used at the time of making the payment is saved to a new table. This enhances the ability to verify specific transactions and track any changes in the Remit-To address record.
R

Reprint EFT Payment Register

A new report has been introduced with this release that enables the reprinting of an EFT Payment Register. Previously you only had one chance to print or save this report, but the added reprint flexibility will certainly be helpful for reviewing payables and banking information.
R

Restrict Edit 1099 Transaction Information by Calendar Year

Tax and compliance continue to be addressed with this new feature in the Edit 1099 Information window. A new Documents filter option called ‘by Calendar Year Paid’ will then prompt an additional Year filter, allowing you to evaluate only documents that were considered paid in that period. This dramatically eliminates guesswork when reviewing or updating 1099 information for your vendors!
