GraVoc is thrilled to announce that our Director of Software Solutions, David Laster, was recognized as a Community Summit Legend at the 2023 Community Summit North America! This award is a well-deserved nod to David’s leadership and dedication within the Microsoft business applications community.
Winners of the Summit Legend award are nominated and selected by members of Dynamics Communities – a Microsoft business applications community and learning platform that includes multiple user groups geared toward Dynamics GP, Power Platform, and Business Central, among other Microsoft products. Summit Legends are honored for their dedication and commitment to peer support within the community.
Over the years, David has embodied the community’s people-first culture, going above and beyond to share his expertise and knowledge with peers and users. He has been involved with the Dynamics GP user group (GPUG) for nearly 10 years and has become increasingly active within the Business Central/NAV user group.
David has also led or been involved in over 25 educational sessions for Dynamics GP, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 Business Central users and partners. For instance, at the recent 2023 Community Summit North America, he delivered and supported multiple sessions that provided attendees with insights on Dynamics GP upgrades, Power BI reporting for Business Central, and much more. Over the years, he has also recorded content for the platform, and occasionally participated in the GP or Business Central forums.
Most recently, he has also been working on the Summit Program Committee that selects and organizes the content presented at the Community Summit each year. Talking about the Summit Legend award, David said,
“I’m honored to be recognized for the contributions I’ve made to the user group community at Summit over the years. I love going to Summit, I love learning about the ERP and reporting products, but it is especially rewarding to just give back to the community that has supported and taught me so much over the years.”
We are proud of David’s achievements! He will continue to bring value to our team as a Community Summit Legend, allowing our Microsoft customers to benefit from his broad expertise and thought leadership!
