Microsoft launched the Cloud Partner Program in October 2022, replacing the previous Microsoft Partner Network program. Under the new program, the legacy Gold/Silver competencies have been phased out to make room for designations in six new solution areas – Data & AI (Azure), Digital & App Innovation (Azure), Business Applications, Modern Work, Security, and Infrastructure (Azure).
