Our team designed a modern and contemporary website for The Pilates Practice, a boutique Pilates studio located in Foxborough, MA. The studio was looking to redevelop their website to enhance the design, offer virtual classes for purchase, and ultimately attract new customers and engage existing clients through the site.

The Pilates Practice had envisioned a clean and classic design for their company website. To bring their vision to life, our team built their site on WordPress which allowed us to create custom design templates that matched their desired look and feel. Building on WordPress also gave the studio the flexibility to update the site on their own whenever they needed edits made.

Keeping the studio’s desire for simplicity in mind, our team adopted a ‘less is more’ design approach. We created an aesthetically pleasing homepage, utilizing whitespace and other design elements to enhance the page’s look, feel, and flow. Throughout the homepage, our team included vibrant images and relevant calls to action that encouraged users to learn more about the studio’s classes and request or purchase a Pilates session. Our team also designed a streamlined navigation menu that included a prominent ‘Register Now’ button that redirected users to a form where new customers could complete the studio’s registration process.

Key components of the website were the service pages that highlighted the studio’s classes and sessions. We created a primary landing page that provided an overview of the studio’s sessions and virtual classes through concise content and eye-catching images.

To make it simple and convenient for clients to request a session without having to leave the site, our team embedded an interactive calendar on the ‘Services’ webpage, allowing users to check available session slots. We also designed a webpage with similar functionality to provide users with information on the studio’s Apparatus sessions.

Drawing attention to The Pilates Practice’s virtual classes and enabling purchase options were two primary goals of the website redesign. To meet these goals and encourage sales, our team created a dedicated ‘Classes’ webpage to house their Virtual Library. This page displayed all the studio’s virtual classes in an organized and accessible format. Each class was listed by name, image, and price. Customers could click on the ‘Purchase’ button to complete the checkout process and buy a session.

Our team also designed clean and visually appealing ‘About’ webpages that gave users insight into the Pilates method and introduced customers to The Pilates Practice’s team. The ‘Our Team’ page included the name, photo, and an expandable bio of the studio’s owner and instructors.

To boost customer engagement and help expand The Pilates Practice’s email subscriber base, our team added a ‘Subscribe to our Newsletter’ form at the bottom of every webpage on the site. To help grow their social profiles, our team also included social media icons that linked to the studio’s Facebook and Instagram profiles and embedded the studio’s Instagram feed to display recent posts.

To help users easily get in touch with The Pilates Practice, our team created a ‘Contact Us’ webpage with the studio’s location, phone, and email. The page also featured an easy-to-use contact form so customers could reach out to the studio with any questions or comments. Our team set up email notifications for The Pilates Practice team to make it convenient for them to track new form submissions.

Today, our team continues to provide The Pilates Practice with web hosting services. We also set up the website’s SSL certificate to ensure a secure site environment. We are thrilled that The Pilates Practice chose GraVoc to help redesign their website and look forward to collaborating with them on future creative projects!
