Our Creative Technology team recently launched the new website for The Light Foundation! The Light Foundation provides young adults with outdoor and hands-on learning opportunities that inspires them to believe in themselves and their ability to be great leaders. In the past, our two teams have worked together on countless projects and we were thrilled when they asked us to redesign and redevelopment their website!
Built on a robust and scaleable platform, we worked hand-in-hand with the team at The Light Foundation to reimagine their site and to help bring their mission to the forefront. One of the key goals of the redesign was to help shine a light on what they do and their impact. The Light Foundation offers inspiring programs such as Camp Vohokase, Timber Frame Camp, Leadership workshop and many others that truly help turn young adults into leaders. We wanted to highlight these great programs through image-rich webpages that helped explain the program to the user as well as show the impact that the programs have. Another goal was to ensure easy navigation across the site. To do this, we worked with their team to restructure their navigation menu in order to make it easier for users to get to their intended pages without hassle.
To introduce the new website, The Light Foundation created social media posts as well as sent out an email blast to their followers. They gave a shoutout to our team in their blast for helping them launch the site, check out their shoutout below along with a Facebook post used to promote the new website!
