North Shore Community Action Programs (NSCAP) empowers low-income families and individuals to achieve social and economic stability through services and education in partnership with the community. The organization wanted to enhance the look and feel of its website’s interface as well as make its important resources and program information easy to access and browse in multiple languages. So, NSCAP approached GraVoc’s web team about a website redesign.

Our team revamped the NSCAP website using WordPress. The new NSCAP website is vibrant with lots of authentic photography, engaging program webpages, and a user-friendly translation tool – all designed to deliver a seamless user experience, convey the organization’s impact, and drive donations.

Our team created a custom website design for NSCAP along with a new, updated logo. The homepage clearly communicates what NSCAP does and why their work matters through compelling content, including testimonials and an animated video that our videographers produced. Whether site visitors are looking for area resources, adult education, home energy assistance, housing, or home health services, they can seamlessly navigate to the relevant program webpage through the homepage.

The website’s translation tool allows NSCAP to expand the reach of its resources to a wider audience. Site visitors can use the tool to translate the website’s content into their preferred language, such as Spanish, Japanese, Arabic, and more, for improved access and engagement.

Every program webpage is visually engaging and contains informational content as well as links to helpful resources. The Housing Payment Assistance page also features a custom, easy-to-use application form, allowing site visitors to get help with rent and mortgage payments. Our team also designed the ‘Accessing Affordable Healthcare’ webpage with information and videos on finding health insurance in Massachusetts.

Besides showcasing the organization’s programs, the website also provides NSCAP with a platform to share their brand story and history. Through the ‘About’ section, site visitors can learn more about NSCAP, the organization’s staff, and check out available job opportunities.

A key goal of the website redesign was to drive site visitors to get involved and donate to NSCAP. Eye-catching call-to-action buttons are strategically placed across the website, encouraging site visitors to donate.

The ‘Donate Today’ page includes a cinematic testimonial video that was also produced by our team and showcases donor impact on NSCAP clients to further encourage site visitors to take action. Our team also setup and configured a custom donation form to make it quick and easy for site visitors to contribute and show their support for NSCAP without having to leave the site. The form allows users to select a predefined donation amount or enter a custom amount, assign the donation to a general fund or COVID-19 relief, enter their contact information, and make a payment.

Our team is thrilled with the final look and feel of the redesigned NSCAP website! The website has a more modern and vibrant design, with stronger UI/UX to enhance user experience as well as access to the organization’s programs and resources. We look forward to working with NSCAP on future creative projects!
