GraVoc’s Creative Technology team designed a modern and user-friendly website for RiverWorks Credit Union (RWCU), a non-profit financial institution owned by its membership. RWCU wanted to enhance its website to streamline the user experience for current and prospective members as well as boost engagement with its products across the site. To achieve this, our team redesigned RWCU’s website to create an intuitive site architecture and informational content hubs to make it easy for visitors to navigate the website and explore the credit union’s diverse financial offerings.
Using WordPress, our team developed a responsive and mobile-friendly design to deliver a seamless user experience across devices and browsers. Our team incorporated RWCU’s brand colors into the website design – balancing the warm blue color palette with vibrant yellow accents to highlight calls-to-action and create a modern yet welcoming look and feel.
Our team worked with RWCU to anticipate customer needs and provide quick access to popular resources, such as auto loans, consumer loans, branch locations, and mortgages, on the homepage. The homepage also puts the day’s featured rates front and center in an easy-to-digest and eye-catching format. Besides providing access to key information, the homepage also promotes RWCU’s popular services through a dynamic, visual, and interactive sliding banner. Since RWCU is focused on growing memberships, our team added a prominent ‘Join Us’ call-to-action button at the top of the homepage and included an engaging animated video that explains the customer benefits of banking with a credit union.
To facilitate easier browsing and allow customers to quickly find information relevant to their needs, our team streamlined the site navigation and created a detailed content hub for each product category – Deposits, Loans, Business, Rates, e-Services, and Mortgages.
The Deposits, Loans, and Mortgages hubs included dedicated product webpages for RWCU’s checking and savings accounts, credit cards, auto loans, fixed rate mortgage, jumbo mortgage, and more. To facilitate the conversion of site visitors into members, each product webpage also featured a strategic ‘Apply Now’ call-to-action button that was linked to the appropriate RWCU application portal.
Similarly, the ‘Business’ hub helped streamline the digital banking experience for local businesses within RWCU’s field of membership. This section included dedicated and accessible information on RWCU’s free business checking accounts, payroll processing, merchant services, and business credit cards.
The ‘Rates’ webpages featured multiple, easy-to-follow rate tables for RWCU deposit and loan products. This hub also included financial calculators, which were one of the key customer-driven features that our team implemented on the RWCU website.
Our team ensured the calculators had a user-friendly interface and a prominent ‘Results’ section. The calculators enabled RWCU to provide customers with a convenient and accessible solution to estimate mortgage payments, investment value, and other details for easier financial decision-making. Placing these interactive financial tools on the website also helped improve visitor engagement.
The eServices hub provides RWCU members with convenient access to the credit union’s digital services, such as mobile banking, online banking, account opening, eStatements, bill pay, and other online resources. The pages featured in-depth information and strategic calls-to-action to facilitate sign-ups. Our team also included links to the credit union’s online banking and loan payment portals in the navigation menu for easy access.
Throughout the website design process, our team maintained a customer-focused approach. Recognizing that site visitors may also land on the RWCU website to check the credit union’s hours and locations or to look for nearby ATMs, our team designed dedicated webpages to highlight RWCU’s branch addresses and timings, holiday closings, routing number, and ATM network. The ATM webpages also featured direct links to locators that helped customers identify their nearest ATM.
We also created a ‘Contact Us’ webpage so current and potential RWCU members could locate relevant contact information for a specific department within the credit union or fill out a user-friendly contact form to share questions or comments.
Our team is thrilled with the final look and feel of RWCU’s website redesign! The new website reflects RWCU’s professional and member-focused branding. With dedicated content hubs, vibrant images, and user-friendly navigation, the new website provides a more streamlined and engaging digital banking experience for both existing and prospective customers.
