Promotional Website for Peabody Main Streets

Our team designed the website on WordPress, creating custom templates that showcased Peabody as a vibrant destination for visitors and businesses. The website design was responsive, providing a seamless user experience across browsers and mobile devices. Developing the website on the scalable and easy-to-use WordPress content management system also allowed Peabody Main Streets to make updates to the site on their own and when they needed to.

Recognizing the importance of powerful visual content to communicate the city’s dynamic energy and attract visitors, our team incorporated vivid imagery throughout the website, including on all the webpage banners. The website’s homepage features aesthetic photography, a brief introduction to the city, Peabody Main Streets’ social feed, and contact information to engage users as soon as they land on the site.

The homepage also included a prominent call-to-action button encouraging site visitors to explore the city Main Street’s offerings. This button led users to a comprehensive landing page that further described the organization’s mission, support for small businesses, and events on Main Street. This page also encourages visitors to explore ways to get involved with the organization via events, sponsorships, and more.

A key goal of the website was to boost city tourism by highlighting the rich and diverse experiences Peabody has to offer. To achieve this, our team created an ‘Experience Peabody’ webpage to showcase the city’s award-winning restaurants, historical sites, and creative experiences. The page featured images, online links, and descriptions of Peabody’s well-known attractions, such as the North Shore Mall, Summer Concert Series, MetroBowl, Brooksby Farm, and more.

To build community involvement and further engage visitors, our team also implemented an ‘Events’ calendar where users could search and view both past and upcoming events. Users could also click on an event to get more in-depth information, such as venue and organizer, and add the event to their Google Calendar or iCalendar.

In keeping with Peabody Main Streets’ mission goals, promoting local businesses as well as demonstrating the city’s viable business environment were other critical goals of the website redesign. To drive the organization’s economic vision, the website featured webpages such as, ‘Let’s Do Business,’ ‘Find A Business,’ and ‘Sponsorship Opportunities’.

The ‘Find a Business’ webpage promoted local businesses in the Main Street and surrounding Downtown corridor. Organized by location and category, the list of local businesses was designed to encourage visitors to further explore Peabody’s unique offerings and put a spotlight on entrepreneurs that contribute to advancing the local economy.

Similarly, the ‘Sponsorship Opportunities’ webpage described Peabody Main Streets’ events and promotions geared toward pushing the ‘Shop Small, Shop Local’ movement and helping local businesses boost consumer awareness.

Our team also developed a contact form that allowed users to connect with Peabody Main Streets to request general information, learn more about sponsorship or vendor opportunities, or get involved as a volunteer. We set up email notifications to help the organization track new form submissions.

We are thrilled with how the Peabody Main Streets’ new website turned out! The site gives users a 360° look into all the unique features and attractions that make Peabody so special.
