User-friendly eCommerce Website for Marketing East

Using WordPress, our team created a responsive website design that was optimized to work uniformly across browsers and mobile devices. To encourage visitor engagement, we designed a modern homepage with an interactive banner slider featuring calls to action that nudged users to learn more about the company and purchase their products. The homepage also gave users an overview of the company’s key products and highlighted notable differentiators of the brand. Our team added streamlined call-to-action buttons across the homepage so customers could easily find options to view the company’s products, learn more about the brand, or contact Marketing East as they browsed the page. We also incorporated a clickable message icon on the homepage that directly pulls up a contact form for easy access and instant messaging.

Implementing eCommerce functionality was a core focus of this website rebuild to provide Marketing East with the ability to facilitate product purchases through the site. Our team designed multiple, catalog-style product pages that were broken out by product categories such as EMI Shielding Paint, Electrically Conductive Adhesives & Sealants, Thermal Interface Materials and more. Each product category webpage features a detailed description followed by product listings.

The individual product webpages included item pictures, a detailed overview of the product and provided customers with the option to either request a quote or add the item to their cart for purchase. GraVoc also implemented custom add-ons to each product that includes the option for the customer to include a Test Report, Certificate of Conformance and/or Safety Data Sheet. Once a user decided to buy a product, they were directed to a new ‘Checkout’ page. Here, customers could enter their billing information, review their order summary, and add their payment details to place an order. Payment options include credit card, electronic check or pay by phone. Orders can be placed on a national or international level and include specific shipping fees using services like UPS.

Along with being able to purchase items on the website, our team designed a ‘Request a Quote’ form so customers could easily reach out to Marketing East through the site and get a quote on any Parker Chomerics product. We also built a custom contact form for the website with email notifications to alert the Marketing East team to new form submissions.

To help users learn more about Marketing East, our team created a detailed ‘About’ page that gave users more information about their brand, history, and mission. The about page also includes client testimonials to showcase the company’s expertise and help build customer trust in the brand. Further, we also added a ‘Resources’ section with webpages for catalogs and brochures, Marketing East’s Line Card, and a blog to ensure customers had access to a library of relevant product information.

To make the website as user-friendly as possible, we added links to the top navigation that allowed customers to login to their accounts to view past orders, edit their profile as well as pay their invoices through their third-party service called PayTrace. For website tracking, we implemented Google Analytics so the company could gather relevant data on top performing products, user engagement and more. We also set up on-page search engine optimization (SEO) across the site to boost organic web traffic.

Today, our team continues to provide Marketing East with cloud-based web hosting and maintenance services through our monthly WordPress Maintenance Plan to ensure their website remains secure and up-to-date all year round.
