There is no doubt that tablets and phones have become an integral part of our personal and business lives.  Each quarter more and more website traffic is being driven by mobile devices.  Recently, in an article published by the technology blog Mashable, it was announced that Lenovo shipped more tablets and smartphones in it’s first quarter than it did PCs.  This is the first time this has happened for world’s #1 PC maker.  PCs are still driving more revenue for Lenovo representing 52% of their $8.8 billion in revenue while mobile devices are only accounting for 14% of that.  Overall shipments of PC dropped 11% across all manufacturers. Establishing a dominance in it’s home country of China, Lenovo is now also the #4 smartphone supplier in the world.  For full details check out the article at Mashable and stay tuned for our upcoming blog post about Responsive Design vs Mobile Apps.
