GraVoc recently became a managed service provider (MSP) with ZixCorp, a recognized leader of email encryption. Now, on top of being a valued added reseller of ZixGateway and other Zix products, we are offering annual, per mailbox subscriptions to our hosted email encryption solution with Zix.
Email encryption prevents sensitive information, such as personally identifiable information, intellectual property, trade secrets, or financial information, from being accessed by anyone other than the intended recipient of the email. Hackers are able to set up devices to intercept and read unencrypted email communications; encryption allows the message to remain scrambled until it reaches its destination, making it much more difficult for a hacker to look at the message.
While most commonly used by companies in highly regulated industries with compliance regulations, email encryption should be a major consideration for any business that wants to protect its information.
Implementing the Zix email encryption solution will not affect incoming mail, and encryption will be transparent between companies that both utilize Zix. If sending messages to non-Zix users, recipients must create a username and password to log in to a portal and read the message. There are no major effects on email beyond the ability to encrypt. GraVoc will assist with setting up Zix, which can be implemented within hours.
