Yesterday, September 6th, 2017, The FFIEC (Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council) announced the launch of a new Industry Outreach website designed to share information about financial institution supervision with financial institutions, regulators, the public and other stakeholders.
The FFIEC Industry Outreach program aims to provide updates on changes in supervisory guidance or regulations as well as information on current issues in the financial industry. The program also strives to enhance communication between the FFIEC and financial institutions, trade associations, third-party service providers, consultants, and other parties
In general, this new website allows users to access archived and upcoming FFIEC-sponsored webinars. Additional webinars, such as Updates to FFIEC Information Technology Guidance, will be added to the archive in the near future.
