GraVoc Associates teamed up with the Jimmy Fund to celebrate Opening Day at Fenway by raising money for cancer research. The Rally Against Cancer encourages local schools and businesses to form “Rally Teams” and donate $5 or more, with the incentive of wearing Red Sox gear on opening Day. Cathy Gravel led GraVoc’s Rally team, setting a goal of $1,000 for the company. Members of the GraVoc staff stepped up to the plate and donated $1,648 in the weeks leading up to Opening Day. To celebrate the big day, we held a company-wide luncheon featuring catering from Champions. In appreciation of such an enthusiastic fundraising effort by the staff, President David Gravel raffled off a pair of Red Sox tickets – associate Jamie Maurer was the lucky winner!
