It has been quite a wild winter here in New England.  The dedication of all our employees at GraVoc has kept our customers up and running despite the many wintery blasts since the first of the year.  The following are some highlights from the first two months of 2014.

January

January 6th –  GraVoc President Dave Gravel was sworn into office for another 2 year term as Councilor At Large in Peabody, MA

January 8th – Employees Dave Gravel, Brian Gravel and Nate Gravel attend the annual North Shore Chamber Economic Breakfast where client Dave Caruso of Coastal Capital LLC was one of the keynote speakers

January 17th – GraVoc’s Information Security team participated in the Bankworld Expo at Foxwoods Resort & Casino.  You can listen to a podcast from the event where team member Dan Vassallo was interviewed.

January 25th– GraVoc receives Strategic Partner of the Year award from Energi Inc.

January 26th – President Dave Gravel & Vice President Cathy Gravel move into their new office and the completion of the new state of the art conference room takes shape.

January 29th – The city of Peabody’s annual Mayor’s Breakfast/Peabody Chamber was attended by Cathy & Dave where they gained insight to the city’s vision of growth and economic development.

February

February 1st– Dan Vassallo plunges into the cold, Atlantic ocean in efforts to raise money to end Polio. dan polar

February 3-7Tayna Poste from the information security spent her birthday in Disney with her son Landan

February 3-6  – Developer Nikhil Paldhikar was in Bellevue Washington to attend the Dynamics AX Technical Conference.  Nikhil will share his knowledge with the rest of the GraVoc team.

February 12th – Dan Johnson and Brian Gravel attended a multi- chamber event put on by the Peabody Area Chamber and other local chambers of commerce.  The event was held at Stoneham Plaza and was very well attended.

February 13th–  First meeting takes place in GraVoc’s new, technology infused conference room.
