Since 2006, GraVoc Media has sustained a long and healthy friendship with WordPress. We know just about everything there is to know about this content management system, and we stay up to date with everything that’s going on in it’s life. Indeed, we love WordPress, and apparently we’re not alone.

WordPress, a free open-source blogging and content management system, has grown to become the world’s largest self-hosted blogging tool. WordPress powered sites account for about 17% of the World Wide Web, and 16.7% of Alexa Internet’s top 1 million sites. In fact, according to this Google Trends chart, WordPress ranks number one in world wide interest amongst the leading platforms.

WordPress was originally built as a blogging tool back in 2003. Currently at version 3.5.1, it is so much more than that today. At GraVoc Media, we use it to it’s full potential. WordPress is our first choice for building our clients fully customized and user friendly websites. We know WordPress inside and out, and can integrate the WordPress basics, additional themes and plugins, and our own custom coding to build our clients an elegant site that suits any website need. Once the perfect website is built, the user friendly back-end of WordPress allows us to seamlessly transfer control of the site over to our client. From there, clients can publish blog posts, update images, and change content as they please.

Here at GraVoc, we have used WordPress to build our own brand new website. We have taken advantage of the WordPress features to create a modern and streamline site that clearly represents who we are as a company. Some of the key WordPress features we have included are social media integration, three separate blog pages, multiple navigation options, and portfolio pages.
