Associate Michael Kannan of GraVoc’s Information Security practice successfully passed the test for the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification last week.  The CEH, granted and administered by the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (“EC-Council”), recognizes technically-savvy business professionals for their ability to detect, exploit, and remediate weaknesses and vulnerabilities in a business’s information systems.

Mike achieved this accomplishment by taking a four-hour exam on a Saturday morning, which he successfully passed.  Mike also gained the prestigious CISSP certification from (ISC)2 earlier this year.

Mike, who holds a master’s degree in information assurance from Brandeis University, has brought his technical skills to GraVoc’s information security practice, having helped improve GraVoc’s IT assurance offerings since he joined the firm in March 2011.  The GraVoc information security practice, who specializes in risk management, IT assurance, and IT audit, is acclaimed by community banks and credit unions, having been named Best of 2011 by Banker and Tradesman magazine for Audit/Independent IT.  Please join GraVoc and its Information Security practice in congratulating Mike on his most recent certification.
