Last week, GraVoc welcomed new associate, Michael Kannan, to the company. Mike has joined GraVoc as the newest member of the information security practice. His experience and interest in information security began from a victim’s perspective, as a hacker used an open VNC connection to hijack his computer while he was browsing the Internet one day. Since that incident, Mike has dedicated himself to understanding and learning how to prevent security vulnerabilities within IT systems and applications on all major platforms. He has a B.S. in Computer Networking and Information Systems from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is currently finishing up coursework toward a M.S. degree in Information Assurance from Brandeis University.
